Common questions

How it works

Post your shifts

Create an event, add shifts with dates, times and how many helpers. Weekly events repeat with one setting.

Share one link

Put it in your newsletter or class group. Families sign up in about thirty seconds, with no account and no password.

We send reminders

Automatic emails ahead of each shift, with one tap to confirm or cancel.

Just here to volunteer?

You don't need this page. Use the signup link your group sent you: everything happens from that link and your email, with nothing to install and no account to make.

Lost the link? Whoever runs volunteering for your group can send it again.

Common questions

My child's school sent me a link. Do I need this page?

No. Use the link they sent you and sign up straight from it. There's no account to make here and nothing to install.

I help run a group. How do I get set up?

New groups are added by invitation while we work with a small number of them. If yours isn't set up yet, you'll need an invitation from whoever runs it.

Already invited? Sign in and your group will be waiting.

Do volunteers have to make accounts?

Never. A parent gives their name and email once per signup, and everything after that happens through links in their email: confirming, cancelling, and seeing what they're booked on.

That's the whole point. Signup sheets fail when they ask for a password.

What does it do about people forgetting?

Reminders go out automatically ahead of every shift, each with one tap to confirm or cancel. Organizers see who has confirmed, so they know what's actually covered.
